ABOUT
Choreographer Yolanda Gutiérrez works with local dancers in different cities around the world to create decolonizing audio walks with dance interventions in public spaces. Together they explore the colonial past of each city through dance, historical facts, personal biographies and interviews. Equipped with headphones, the audience listens to audio tracks from station to station and experiences a reinterpretation of history through site-specific body interventions in public space that become alive and present.
